I will stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.

Former twice unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
